As part of our effort to provide quality and safe care to all our clients, our company follows a fall and safety prevention program.  Prior to care being provided to our clients, our company will assess the client’s home for falls or safety hazards for the client and the caregiver consisting but not limited to the following:

• The client will receive a Complimentary 24-hour wearable monitoring device.  At an additional cost, we can install fall detection monitors
• Asses any trip hazards such as non-stick rugs or carpets on the floor that can cause the client to slip or fall
• Recommend bed rails if needed
• Inspect all smoke alarms in the home and ensure they are working
• Provide recommendations for a safer shower such as grab bars, non-slip floor mats, shower organizers to reduce having to bend down or reach to grab things, in addition to recommending hand held shower heads as they provide a more comfortable shower when using a shower chair or bench
• All clients will receive a complimentary wearable In-Home call button that alerts the caregiver if help is needed and they are not in the same room at the time
